Vanessa McKlennan

Vanessa is in her fourth year of pharmacology and transitional justice at Western University. She joined her school chapter in 2021 and has been the Vice President of Access for the last two years. She has led an op-ed and a comparative analysis on Western’s technology transfer policies relative to ETAF and has been working towards introducing more equitable policies.

Outside of UAEM, Vanessa has done research in both precision oncology and global health for low- and middle-income countries. In the future, she hopes to work in the intersection of public health and pharmaceutical science.
