Nosipho Beaufort, MPH

Nosipho is a public health professional with nearly 20 years of progressive experience working with federal, state and local public health agencies as well as public and private partners. Her background includes technical and operational assistance, strategic planning, project management, process improvement and quality improvement.  Nosipho joined PIH-US in June 2021 initially as Southeast Regional Director. Prior to joining PIH, Nosipho worked on and led public health informatics capacity building projects for the Task Force for Global Health and sat on the Public Health workgroup for HL7 International. Her previous work includes serving as a consultant with Deloitte Consulting and leading projects for a public health contracting firm supporting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cooperative agreement efforts. Nosipho launched her career in public health at the Florida Department of Health where she coordinated adult hepatitis vaccination and testing activities and reviewed and implemented state and federal policies. Nosipho holds an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and lives in Atlanta, GA.
