Brix Kowalski

Brix Kowalski graduated from UCSC in the spring where he pursued a degree in Legal Studies and a History minor. He was one of the founding member of UCSC UAEM chapter, while also holding the position of President of the Men's water polo club there. Brix's time with UAEM been marked by the recruitment of over ten UAEM members to the UCSC chapter, and advancing the Affordable Access Plan campaign at UCSC.

Brix has also worked with Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County, where he assisted in the response to devastating storms that laid a particularly heavy burden on California's farmworker community. In addition, Brix helped develop the Community Action Plan, Santa Cruz County's only resource to assess poverty demographics and causes in the area.

Going forward, Brix hopes to intersect his background in social and health equity by pursuing a career in Law. Apart from his professional goals, Brix likes to hang out with his friends and cat, cook, and be active!
