Sapna Ramappa

Sapna Ramappa (she/her) graduated from UCLA in 2021, where she majored in Human Biology and Society with a concentration in Bioethics and Public Science Policy. She joined UAEM in early 2019, when she helped start the UCLA UAEM chapter. Sapna joined the North American Coordinating Committee in 2020 and has also served as a Fellow since graduating. During her time with UAEM, she was involved with the UCLA UAEM chapter, the North American Report Card Teams, the Free the Vaccine Campaign, and the COVID-19 University Mapping Project.

After graduating from UCLA, she worked as a Staff Researcher at the UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment, and she will start medical school at UCLA in the fall of 2023!

She is interested in pursuing a career at the nexus of medicine, psychopathology, psychometrics, health policy, and access to healthcare. Beyond that, Sapna loves to sing, podcast, experiment with film photography, and visit her local farmers' markets.
