Gabrielle Robbins, PhD
Gabrielle Robbins is an anthropologist focused on health and medicine in Madagascar. Her work examines the politics of medicinal substances on the island, with a focus on rural health, inequality, and resource sovereignty over time. She is a postdoctoral research fellow in Critical Approaches in Science, Technology, and Medicine, affiliated with both the Department of the History of Medicine and the Medicine, Science, Humanities program at JHU.
