Anja Wiemers

Anja is a medical doctor with a passion for Global Health. She joined UAEM five years ago and served as European Coordinator and chapter lead in the Maastricht chapter. Growing up half German and half Croatian, representing the European region in the Executive Committee felt natural.  She’s very passionate about the empowerment of students and needs-driven research & development. When she isn’t busy brainstorming and discussing, she likes to bake, practice yoga or go for hikes with friends.
