Aadesh Chordia

Aadesh Chordia is a fourth-year undergraduate student at The Ohio State University and is studying Biomedical Science with a minor in Spanish. He has been involved with UAEM for over a year, having joined the North American Coordinating Committee in 2022. Since then, Aadesh has served on the empowerment committee, spending his time helping to improve the implementation of UAEM’s vision within our North American chapters, both old and new. Additionally, he recently co-founded the UAEM chapter at Ohio State and is working to grow it from the ground up. Outside of UAEM, Aadesh is working to better understand the molecular mechanisms behind our body’s innate immune response, specifically in the context of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Aadesh hopes to leverage his experiences in UAEM to pursue a career in medicine centered around the principles of equitable access.
